Surgical trainees must keep a logbook of their operative experience, which is unique depending on the College that the surgical trainee originates. SURGbase Enterprise is an Australian designed software program that appreciates the needs of surgical trainees, and facilitates appropriate data entry in order to complete an operative log for all members of the operative team.

One registrar can be involved in many different procedures within a given operation, and may be the principal operator for one procedure, and an assistant for another. SURGbase facilitates these divisions, and allows appropriate classification.

We can provide Registrars with an electronic record of their operative experience that they can take away from the hospital. We're endeavouring to integrate with with the RACS web-logbook.
